I was a relatively consistent blogger during 2005, 2006 and 2007, and you can now see those archived postings on this blog.  During the hiatus, I certainly had topics that I wanted to write about, but I saw a trend that seemed to move people from scripted macro-thoughts to less-than-160-character micro-musings.  After watching various micro-blogging technologies develop over time, I think that there is still a place for blogging, so I will resume my periodic postings.

I did decide to write on my own domain because there are often thoughts that I want to express that are not related to online marketing, technology or leadership.  So, if you were a follower of “Simon Says,” and you haven't written me off for abandoning you, feel free to continue your readership here at blog.simonmutlu.com. 

Yes, I realize that there is nothing uploaded on simonmutlu.com.  I don't really have a need for a personal website at this point in my life, but I figured I'd register my name so someone doesn't try to scalp it to me someday  ; )
