Blog and Podcast Awards

Congratulations to Chris Baggott, Brian Carroll, Seth Godin and everybody else who won a MarketingSherpa Blogging and/or Podcast Award.  Each winner was awarded this honor by popular vote amongst MarketingSherpa's 237,000 readers.  The criteria included weekly (or more frequent) updates, at least seven months of history, usefulness, personality, design, and revisitability (if that's not a word, I don't know what is).  Just the simple ability to update a blog with useful and personable information at least once per week for seven months deserves an award!  I'm definitely proud to say that almost all of the winners have been bookmarked in my RSS reader for the past few months, and I'm glad to see them get some recognition.

Let's not forget some of the other great online marketing blogs that are out there.  I would personally recommend Sam Decker's blog on marketing and leadership, Tamara Gielen's blog on B2B marketing, The Email Wars blog on deliverability, the eROI blog, the MarketingVOX blog, and our Founder David Geller's blog (no, he didn't put me up to this).  I personally am a fan of podcasts as well...if you see me with my iPod while I'm running, I'm more likely to be listening to a podcast than rocking out to a song.  Yeah, I guess that makes me a dork.  I can live with that.
