The Goodmail Clock is Ticking
For those of you who are interested in testing Goodmail's CertifiedEmail program, you may want to reach out to them this week. Companies who get started before March 31st, 2006 will get six months of free tokens and a highly reduced per-token price for the following six months. Companies who get started between April 1st and June 30th will get three months of free tokens and a slightly reduced per-token price for the three months thereafter.
So, I'm not trying to either endorse or reject their program. But, I am trying to help you save money by starting now if you are interested. We have a few customers who will be joining their initial charter program, and we'll keep everybody up on the results of their test. To get started, you'll just need two things:
- A good track-record of low complaint rates on your IP address(es) over time
- An email service provider (like WhatCounts and a few others) that has the right technology to insert tokens on your behalf. Or, if you have your own message transfer agent (MTA) from Port25 or Strongmail, you can upgrade your technology to insert your own CertifiedEmail tokens. If you don't know whether your email service provider can support CertifiedEmail, just ask them.
If you need their contact info, let me know or go to their Web site.
