Here's a great quote from John Rizzi, CEO of our friendly competitor E-Dialog, about Goodmail's CertifiedEmail program:

"Assuming 0.25 cents is the cost, an average mailer that mails twice per month will pay 6 cents per address," said Rizzi. 

"That's 6 freaking cents," said Rizzi.  "If you break it down per recipient, it's nothing.  I think anybody who looks at that and says 'hmmm, my customer isn't worth 6 cents to me,' ought to look in the mirror and see a spammer looking back."

I love it.  It's so true, except for the 0.25 cents part....it's actually much less.  The quote came from an article about Goodmail rejecting many CertifiedEmail program applicants.  I should hope so!  I don't want everything in my inbox to have a CertifiedEmail icon next to it...that would ruin the point of the program, don't ya think?  ; )
